Information for Carers

Patricia White’s Personal Home Care provides opportunities for carers to work throughout the United Kingdom. For many years our carers have enabled clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes. We pride ourselves on having a team of top class carers.

Being a carer is a job to be proud of, everything you do enables people to stay in the comfort of their own homes, improving the quality of life for all. Working though Patricia White’s Personal Home Care carers provide support with companionship, housekeeping and personal care.

We have placements all over the UK, both in London and the country.

You will be supported by an experienced and understanding office team, some of whom are fellow Antipodeans. With a full 24-hour service you are never alone and can always speak to a member of staff.

Our live-in positions are paid a flat rate of £82.00 per day with additional fees for Bank and Public Holidays. Living in with a client is a good way to save money with free accommodation, meals and a roof over your head - however it is both a commitment and at times demanding work.

Daily visit work through Patricia White’s Personal Home Care is available to more experienced applicants who have a base in London.

If you are working through Patricia White’s you will be paid by cheque and will, therefore, have to have a UK bank account. It can sometimes be difficult to open a new bank account in England if you have just arrived. We recommend you start to organise this prior to your arrival. In addition you will need to register as a self employed person with the UK authorities.
