Meet Our Carers

We engage experienced, respectful and compassionate carers - many of whom move to the UK from Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. We only select naturally caring people that share our determination to exceed the expectations of our discerning clients.

We understand that home care assistance is not one-size-fits-all. Each carer is committed to a flexible approach that's tailored to suit the tastes and care requirements of each individual. We provide specialist care at home services for a range of complex illnesses and disabilities. From caring for a dementia patients in their home, to meeting the exacting needs of those with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

All potential carer candidates undergo a rigorous interview and selection process. Once we are fully satisfied, we begin the process of introducing each carer to the clients that most closely match their personality and profile. Use the links on this page to find out more about our carers.

Working with the elderly, I have met some of the most interesting people in my life and have had some great adventures. It has been a rewarding journey so far and I have been able to travel and do things that I know I wouldn't have been able to do with an average 9-5 job.

An office job is definitely not for everyone! I have worked as a carer through the Patricia White's agency for many years now and I hope to continue with them for many more. The ladies in the office are a great support and are always available and interested in how things are going, with not only your client, but you as well.

My name is Karie, I have worked for Patricia Whites Personal Home Care for such a long time now that I am pretty much part of the furniture. They are an amazing agency to be with, all the ladies in the office are very friendly and are always available to help where ever they can.

I find caring a very rewarding job; it gives me such satisfaction to know I can help someone to stay in their own home. Every job is different and every person is unique, they all have special stories about their lives, it’s very interesting and you can learn from it too. Another great thing is the flexibility, you can fit it in with your travel plans and it’s a fantastic way to save money.

I started working as a carer through Patricia Whites in April 2012. The girls in the office have been carers themselves so they understand and are really helpful and lovely!

My first client was a man who needed someone to live in. I lived in for two 8 week periods and really enjoyed it. He needed help with every day things like showering, food preparation and someone to drive him around.

Since then I have been working as a visiting carer which I also really enjoy because of the variety it brings. Apart from giving the client independence and giving them the opportunity to stay in their home you also learn a lot and hear some wonderful stories.

Traveling was a big priority for me when I moved over here and working through Patricia Whites has helped me do that. As some of the positions are short term you are able to fit it around your travel.

I have now been working with the same client since April 2014 and it's one of the most rewarding things I have done. To know you've made a positive difference to someone's life has got to be one of the best feelings. Soppy I know!

I can't recommend Patricia White's Agency highly enough; open and accommodating from the very beginning of our working relationship. Their dedicated team have offered me continued support over the years for which I'll always be grateful. Working with them has been an absolute pleasure!
