Patricia White’s client, Mary, has recently turned the spectacular age of 104 years old. Mary took the celebration as an opportunity to share her amazing life story with us, that we needed to share with you.
Mary is quite the extraordinary woman. During her earlier adult years, in World War Two, Mary was a Bletchley Park code cracker.
During the war, the Germans used the Enigma code for all communications within their armed forces. Bletchley Park was where Alan Turing and other agents of the ultra-intelligence project decoded the enemy’s secret messages, most notably those that had been encrypted with the German Enigma and Tunny cipher machines. Experts have suggested that the Bletchley Park code breakers, including our client Mary, may have shortened the war by as much as two years!
We are constantly amazed by our client’s life stories and the experiences they share with us. We thank Mary for sharing her story and wish her an enjoyable birthday.
Mary has been a Patricia Whites client for four years, with a team of wonderful carers who have the privilege of caring for her. Mary has also benefited from bi-lingual carers, speaking French, German and English with her.
To add to Mary’s special day, our very own CEO, Cameron, reached out to wish her a happy birthday, to which she came back and said she loved.

Turning 104 has not stopped Mary from doing the day-to-day things. Mary still gets up and starts her day by doing her own hair and makeup. Ensuring she looks her very best.
