Whilst Jessica third member of the team was supporting back at the office, Avril and Gemma from the Patricia White’s operations team welcomed visiting carers and local live-in carers to a networking and thank you event, held in The Shakespeare, Victoria, London on the 8th of July. The first carer event organised since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, experienced carers and new recruits alike were able to meet up, share experiences and trade best practice.
John Cahill, CEO of Patricia White’s, joined the meet up conveying how important he felt it was for him to attend such events:
“I always do my very best to come along to our carer meet ups, it’s fabulous to meet face to face, now we can, and for me it’s so important to meet with carers who are the heartbeat of our business.’ John continued ‘I am always keen to learn what things we are doing right and what improvements can be made as I want to ensure that we provide the very best support to carers to assist them in providing our clients with outstanding care!”
The invite was also extended to friends and family that were interested in becoming carers and offered an ideal opportunity to see what being a carer for Patricia White’s is really like.
Our next meet up will be held in early December with details to be published nearer the time. If you are interested in becoming a carer, or already working with us and know someone looking to progress their career in care, please do drop us an email at info@patriciawhites.co.uk or apply online, we’d love to hear from you.
