Sarah has lived with cerebral palsy her entire life and has always approached life with determination, positivity and a sense of adventure.
Growing up, Sarah’s parents encouraged her to focus on what she could do rather than what she couldn’t. They were determined that cerebral palsy would not define her future and instilled in her a belief that she could achieve anything she set her mind to.
That mindset has stayed with Sarah throughout her life. She enjoys a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts and is an active member of a local rock choir. Staying creative, social and involved in her community is an important part of who she is.
Like many people living with a long-term condition, there have been times when Sarah has needed additional support to maintain her independence and continue doing the things she loves. Through her care from Patricia White’s, she has been able to regain confidence and focus on living life on her own terms.
The support Sarah receives is tailored to her individual needs, helping her maintain her independence while continuing to pursue her interests and passions. Most importantly, it has helped her feel like herself again.
Today, Sarah continues to embrace new experiences, stay connected to her community and enjoy an active, fulfilling life. Her story is a testament to the power of determination, family support and personalised care in helping people live independently and confidently.
